Vulcan Elements was founded by John Maslin, a former US Navy officer and nuclear propulsion financial manager, and co-founder Piotr Kulik. The company was founded in Boston with the mission of competing with Chinese rare earth magnet manufacturers by building a fully domestic supply chain.
