Vertex provides pipeline update on Zimislecel: Phase 1/2/3 trial fully enrolled, regulatory submissions on track for 2026

Vertex announced that enrollment and dosing in its Phase 1/2/3 trial of Zimislecel for type 1 diabetes with severe hypoglycemia was complete, with about 50 patients dosed. The company paused dosing to conduct a detailed manufacturing process analysis but expects to resume and complete the trial on schedule. Regulatory submissions to the FDA, EMA and MHRA are targeted for 2026.
