US District Court upholds the federal approval of Rhyolite Ridge
A federal judge in Nevada granted summary judgment to the Interior Department and the Bureau of Land Management, rejecting environmental groups' challenge to the mine approval. The court found the agencies had reasonably concluded the project would not jeopardise the endangered Tiehm's buckwheat.
