ioneer signs letters of intent with Korea's KIND and Hyundai Engineering, targeting a decision to build in late 2026

ioneer signed non-binding letters of intent with KIND, a Korean state infrastructure investor, and Hyundai Engineering. It restated updated project economics from October 2025 and aimed for a final investment decision in the second half of 2026.

• Planned output: 27,800 t a year of lithium hydroxide and 135,500 t of boric acid.
• Over $220M invested since 2016; more than 70% of advanced engineering done.
• First commercial production was then expected in 2029.
• 275 to 300 permanent jobs once running.
