Ucore verifies RapidSX contactor scale-up to 24 inches for Louisiana

Ucore finished a 12-month test campaign scaling its RapidSX contactors from the 4-inch demo size up to a 24-inch design for Louisiana. It says RapidSX matched or beat conventional solvent extraction at every size under conservative chemistry assumptions. The data now feed detailed design of the 600 t/yr first machine.

• Over 400 tests across contactor diameters from 1.25 to 24 inches.
• A 24-inch contactor was validated against four 12-inch units of equal area.
• Factory acceptance tests of an 8-inch assembly planned for August-September 2026.
