Terrestrial Energy executes OTA agreement for Project TEFLA fuel salt production facility

Terrestrial Energy executed an Other Transaction Authority agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy for Project TEFLA, a pilot production facility to demonstrate IMSR fuel salt production. This supports the Fuel Line Pilot Program to address domestic nuclear fuel production capacity.

• Project TEFLA demonstrates proprietary IMSR fuel salt production technology at pilot scale.
• Uses standard-assay low-enriched uranium (SALEU) enriched to less than 5% U-235 as feedstock.
• Facility will supply fuel salt for commercial IMSR deployments and DOE pilot programs.
