Teradyne Robotics shows AI Accelerator 1.1 in five partner applications at NVIDIA GTC 2025
Universal Robots (Teradyne)UR AI Accelerator & AI Trainer
At NVIDIA GTC 2025, Universal Robots and five partners showed the AI Accelerator in commercially viable applications for the first time. Version 1.1 adds NVIDIA Isaac ROS and Isaac Manipulator parts for better pose estimation and path planning, and switches the camera link from USB3 to GMSL.
- 3D Infotech: a UR3e scans parts and projects dimensional errors against the CAD model onto them.
- T-Robotics: a UR5e tending a CNC machine is programmed from a plain-language description.
- AICA: gear assembly with a reinforcement-learning skill; Acumino: two arms handle cables learned from human demos.
- Groundlight: the kit trains a model to spot a workpiece and generates the picking program.
