Tennessee issues first state fusion-specific license to Type One Energy

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and the Department of Environment and Conservation issued the nation's first fusion-specific byproduct material license to Type One Energy on August 31, 2026. The license enables construction and operation of both the Infinity One prototype and Infinity Two commercial plant at Bull Run.
