Sungrow launches PowerTitan 3.0 with modular design in Madrid; first 661Ah stacking LFP cell, 99.3% efficiency
Sungrow unveiled PowerTitan 3.0, a next-generation utility-scale energy storage system featuring the industry's first mass-produced 661Ah stacking LFP cell and a liquid-cooled 430 kVA SiC power conversion system. The system delivers 6.9 MWh per 20-foot ISO container with 99.3% power conversion efficiency and can be grid-connected in as little as 12 days.
- 661Ah LFP cells are rated for 12,500 cycles, roughly 20 years of daily operation.
- Liquid cooling enables 99.3% conversion efficiency and 92–93.6% round-trip efficiency for 4-hour storage.
- Grid-forming Stem-Cell 2.0 technology provides synthetic inertia and black-start capability with 20 ms response.
- Factory pre-assembly reduces installation time and labor for large deployments.
