SSi Mantra becomes India's first surgical robot certified for telesurgery

India's device regulator CDSCO certified SSi Mantra for telesurgery and teleproctoring, a first for any robot in the country. It allows surgeons to operate on, or guide operations for, patients in distant hospitals.
