SoftBank in early talks to back an $800M round for Agile Robots, Bloomberg reports
Bloomberg reported that SoftBank was in early talks to back a funding round of about $800 million for Agile Robots, putting in more than $300 million itself. Neither company confirmed the talks, and size and terms could change.
- SoftBank's share would be over $300M of the roughly $800M round.
- SoftBank Vision Fund 2 previously led Agile's $220M Series C in 2021.
- Agile employs more than 3,200 people across Germany, China and India, per the report.
