Snowy Hydro adds fourth tunnel borer to keep project on track

Snowy Hydro deployed a fourth tunnel boring machine (Monica) to accelerate underground work on Snowy 2.0. The project is over 70% complete with first power targeted for H2 2027, though cost has exceeded A$12B.

• Snowy 2.0 will deliver 2.2 GW and 350 GWh storage across 37 km of tunnels.
