SK Hynix and SanDisk release first HBF standard specification at FMS 2026 in Santa Clara

SanDisk and SK Hynix released the first official High Bandwidth Flash specification at the Future of Memory and Storage (FMS) 2026 conference. The spec defines 8 and 16-die NAND stacks reaching 512GB with performance grades spanning 0.4TB/s to 3TB/s, using the standard UCIe interface for CPU and GPU connectivity.
