Second nuclear reactor delivered to Hinkley Point C; Unit 2 dome installed
Hinkley Point C received its second nuclear reactor in January 2026 and completed installation of the 245-tonne steel dome on Unit 2. Reactor pressure vessel fabrication and foundation work advanced steadily.
