Samsung's Taylor fab ready for Tesla AI5 at 2nm after July tape-out

Samsung Foundry announced that Tesla's AI5 chip reached tape-out in July 2026 on its 2nm gate-all-around process at the Taylor fab in Texas. Volume production is expected to begin in the second half of 2027. Broadcom is also booked for 2nm production at the facility.
