Plasma raises $24 million Series A from Framework Ventures, Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, and others
Plasma closed a $24 million Series A funding round led by Framework Ventures, valuing the company at $500 million. Additional investors included Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, Nomura, Flow Traders, Bybit, DRW/Cumberland and Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino personally. The round was earmarked for developing the stablecoin-focused Layer 1 blockchain and expanding its ecosystem.
