Pixxel launches three more Fireflies, completing a six-satellite hyperspectral fleet

Pixxel/Firefly constellation

Three more Firefly satellites flew on SpaceX's NAOS mission, bringing Pixxel's operational fleet to six. Each sees 135+ spectral bands at 5 m resolution across a 40 km swath. CTO Kshitij Khandelwal said the next Honeybee satellites will reach further into the electromagnetic spectrum.

• Data is delivered through Pixxel's Aurora platform.
• Honeybees add extended shortwave infrared bands and faster revisit.
• CEO Awais Ahmed: 'Our earlier launches showed what was possible; this one shows what's next.'
