PATHFINDER 2 trial results published in Nature Medicine, showing 6.5-fold increase in cancer detection with Galleri blood test
PATHFINDER 2 results showed that adding Galleri blood test to standard cancer screening increased overall cancer detection 6.5-fold. The trial enrolled 35,878 North American adults aged 50+. Nearly half of cancers detected by Galleri were diagnosed at stages 1-2, with 60.3% positive predictive value and 99.64% specificity, yielding only 0.36% false-positive rate.
