Novo Nordisk reports Amycretin Phase 1b/2a results: 22% weight loss at 36 weeks with weekly injection

Novo Nordisk announced positive Phase 1b/2a results for amycretin, its next-generation GLP-1 and amylin receptor agonist dual agonist. In a 36-week trial of the injectable form, patients receiving the highest weekly dose (20 mg) achieved 22% weight loss. The company also reported 13.1% weight loss with the oral daily formulation over 12 weeks in Phase 1.
