Northrop Grumman launches first Cygnus XL spacecraft with 33% more cargo capacity

Northrop Grumman launched NG-23, the first Cygnus XL spacecraft, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on September 14, 2025. The XL variant carries 5,000 kg of cargo (33% more than standard Cygnus) in a 36 m³ pressurized module and arrived at the ISS with over 11,000 pounds of supplies.
