Northrop gets a $66M order to retrofit fielded US and Australian Tritons

Naval Air Systems Command awarded Northrop a $66 million firm-fixed-price delivery order to retrofit Tritons already in service for the US Navy and Australia. It covers 17 US and 16 Australian engineering changes, upgrading existing aircraft rather than building new ones. Work runs to June 2030, mostly in Hayward and San Diego, California.
