Natura acquires Shepherd Power and partners with NOV for commercial deployment
Natura Resources acquired Shepherd Power and signed an agreement with National Oilwell Varco (NOV) to commercialize molten salt reactors. The deal aligns Natura's MSR designs with NOV's manufacturing expertise to deploy multiple gigawatts of SMRs between 2029 and 2032 for data centers and industrial heat applications.
