Mountain Pass NdPr output up 41% to 840 t; MP commissioning its dysprosium-terbium circuit

MP produced 840 tonnes of NdPr in the second quarter of 2026 and sold 1,006 tonnes, while rare-earth oxide output fell 16% because of a scheduled maintenance outage and pilot testing. On the earnings call management said the Dy/Tb circuit was being commissioned and dysprosium and terbium would ship to the Fort Worth magnet plant later in 2026.

• NdPr production 840 t (+41%); sales 1,006 t (+127%).
• NdPr oxide and metal revenue: $94.4M; price-protection income: $17.6M.
• REO production 11,072 t, down 16%.
• Management expects Q3 NdPr output above 1,000 t.
