Moonshot released Kimi K2.6, an open-weight 1-trillion-parameter multimodal model with 32 billion active parameters focused on long coding tasks. The model coordinates up to 300 sub-agents over 4,000 steps, with a 256K-token context. It scored 80.2% on SWE-bench Verified and 96.4% on AIME 2026, released under a modified MIT licence.
