Moon Surgical ships Maestro software 2.7 with automated set-up and the first third-party AI app
Version 2.7 turns Maestro from one AI feature into a platform of several models. It adds automated positioning based on surgeon preference, room layout and anatomy, an improved ScoPilot, and a third-party app that turns surgical video into the operative report and billing codes before the surgeon leaves the room.
- Automated Setup adjusts the arms to the surgeon, operating room layout, technique and patient.
- ScoPilot improved with new instruments and configurations under its FDA change-control plan.
- Boot time cut by 40%; new standby mode for moving between rooms.
- Training data: over 3,000 procedures; rolling out across installed base subject to regulators.
