Michael Severino appointed CEO of Sarepta Therapeutics
Michael Severino, M.D., a biopharmaceutical executive with 25+ years of experience at Merck, Amgen, AbbVie and as CEO of Tessera Therapeutics, was appointed CEO effective July 28, 2026. Doug Ingram, who led Sarepta since 2015, transitioned to an advisory role.
