Lumentum's ultra-high-power lasers are inside NVIDIA's new Spectrum-X and Quantum-X Photonics switches

Lumentum/UHP lasers for co-packaged optics

At OFC 2025 Lumentum said NVIDIA had picked it as a silicon photonics partner and that its ultra-high-power 1310 nm lasers are built into NVIDIA's co-packaged optics switches. It also showed 400G-per-lane laser chips for the next generation of plug-in optics.
