Longeveron presents Phase 2a Alzheimer's data showing reduced neuroinflammation at AAIC 2026

LongeveronLaromestrocel (Lomecel-B)

Longeveron presented Phase 2a clinical data at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC 2026) in London showing laromestrocel reduced neuroinflammation in gray and white matter regions of the brain. The data support an anti-inflammatory mechanism of action relevant to early Alzheimer's disease. The FDA has granted RMAT designation and aligned on a Phase 3 study design.

  • Brain MRI showed reduced neuroinflammation in treatment group
  • Data support long-lasting anti-inflammatory effects in key brain regions
  • FDA granted Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) designation
  • Phase 3 study design aligned with regulators for next stage of development
