Kroger closes three Ocado CFCs and receives $350M settlement; focuses on five remaining US sites
Kroger announced closure of three automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (Frederick MD, Pleasant Prairie WI, Groveland FL) in January 2026 and cancelled a planned Charlotte location. Ocado received a one-time $350 million settlement payment in January 2026. Kroger continues operating five CFCs in Atlanta, Denver, Detroit, Monroe and Dallas, with a sixth planned for Phoenix.
