Juvena begins enrolling Phase 1 trial of JUV-161 in healthy volunteers
Juvena announced enrollment in its first-in-human Phase 1 trial of JUV-161 (study NCT06918925), evaluating single and multiple ascending doses of the muscle-regenerating fusion protein in healthy adult volunteers aged 40-65. The trial assesses safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics, with dosing expected to complete in early 2026. A Phase 1b/2a study (NCT07397468) evaluates JUV-161 in muscle immobilization models.
