JPMorgan begins pilot of JPMD deposit token on Coinbase Base with major financial partners

JPMorgan announced a pilot program to launch JPMD, a deposit token representing US dollar deposits, on Coinbase's Base network. The pilot involved Coinbase, liquidity provider B2C2, and payments company Mastercard to test institutional settlement on public blockchain infrastructure.
