ITER receives final core tokamak component; all major hardware on site
ITER Organization announced that all core tokamak components are now on site at Cadarache, with the final delivery of vacuum vessel sector #2 by Europe in October 2026. This includes all toroidal field coils, poloidal field coils, correction coils, central solenoid magnets, vacuum vessel sectors, and thermal shield sets needed for core machine assembly.
