Indonesia orders 12 Bayraktar Kizilelma aircraft with options for 48 more; first export deal signed at SAHA 2026
Baykar signed a landmark export agreement with Indonesia at the SAHA 2026 defence exhibition for 12 Kizilelma jet-powered unmanned fighters with options for 48 additional aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2028, with the deal including local production, technology transfer and training. Indonesia becomes the first export customer for the world's only operational unmanned aircraft to achieve an air-to-air kill.
