Hygon details 128-core C86-5G server CPU in mass production plus its own scale-up and network switches

Hygon

Hygon described its C86-5G server processor, with 128 cores, 512 threads and over 15% better per-clock performance, saying it is in mass production. It also introduced four infrastructure chips, including a 104-lane PCIe 5.0 switch and a scale-up switch for linking accelerators, plus a 400 Gb/s ScaleFabric network.

  • C86-5G: 128 cores, 512 threads (4 per core), up to 10 TFLOPS FP64.
  • 104 PCIe 5.0 lanes and AVX-512 support.
  • Scale-up interconnect switch positioned like Nvidia's NVLink.
  • ScaleFabric: 400 Gb/s with 0.93-microsecond latency.
