Huawei debuted the Atlas 950 SuperPoD at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, the first overseas showcase of its most advanced AI supercomputer. The system integrates 8,192 Ascend 950DT NPUs with 256 TB of unified memory, 4,096 optical transceivers (800G each) and a hybrid mesh/Clos network. Huawei claims 1 EFLOPS (FP8) peak compute at one-quarter the cost of NVIDIA H20-based systems.
