Huawei launches Qiankun ADS 5.0 and proprietary Qiankun OS at technology conference

On April 23, 2026, Huawei officially unveiled Qiankun ADS 5.0 and its custom operating system Qiankun OS, the first OS purpose-built for autonomous driving. ADS 5 improves on ADS 4 across real-world testing in over 80 vehicle models. By end of 2026, Huawei expects 80+ vehicle models to ship with Qiankun ADS and over 3 million cumulative vehicle installations.
