Huawei unveiled Qiankun ADS 4.0 on April 22, 2025, introducing the WEWA architecture—a cloud-and-vehicle split that runs a World Engine on Huawei's cloud and a World Action Model on each vehicle. The system detects obstacles at 250 meters using a new 192-line solid-state LiDAR and handles four levels of autonomy: ADS SE (basic), Pro (enhanced), Max (advanced) and Ultra (L3 highway).
