Google signs largest-ever carbon removal deal: 1M tonnes from Terradot's enhanced rock weathering project in Brazil by 2040

Terradot/Enhanced rock weathering (Brazil and U.S.)

Google and Terradot announced a climate project in southern Brazil covering 200,000+ hectares of rice farmland. Google will purchase 1M tonnes of carbon removal by 2040 and 1M tonnes of methane impact by 2030. This is Google's largest carbon removal purchase and the largest ERW project ever undertaken.
