Global Dollar (USDG) launches in European Union with MiCA compliance

USDG launched to consumers across the European Union on July 1, 2025, regulated under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. Paxos issued USDG in Europe through a Finland-based entity supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. The stablecoin became available through major exchanges including Kraken and Gate.
