General Atomics and Kongsberg finish design reviews for the Joint Strike Missile on MQ-9B

GA-ASI and Norway's Kongsberg completed the requirements and preliminary design reviews for carrying the long-range Joint Strike Missile on MQ-9B. It joins Paveway IV and Brimstone 3, already qualified on the RAF's Protector, and Spear, which is being added.

• Reviews completed 30 June 2026 in Kongsberg, Norway.
• Gives MQ-9B users a long-range anti-ship and land-attack option.
• Operators include the RAF, Belgium and the Japan Coast Guard.
