Focused Energy completed a $240 million Series A funding round from RWE, SPRIND, Prime Movers Lab, and the European Innovation Council Fund, the largest fully-secured Series A in the global fusion industry. The company is building a 1 GW laser fusion power plant at the former RWE Biblis nuclear site in Hesse, Germany, targeting operation by 2035.
