FDA approves Bovaer for use in US dairy cattle
The US FDA approved 3-NOP (Bovaer) for use in dairy cattle feed after reviewing safety and efficacy data. Approvals in Brazil, Chile, the EU, Canada, Japan and other countries preceded US authorization. The product reduces methane emissions by approximately 30% in dairy cattle.
