EU approves Bovaer as first environmental feed additive for methane reduction
EU member states approved Bovaer in February 2022 for dairy cows, following EFSA scientific endorsement. It became the first environmental-benefits feed additive approved in the EU, with studies showing 30% average methane reduction.
