Fanuc America debuts the lightweight CRX-3iA and new capabilities across the CRX line

Fanuc America launched the CRX-3iA, an 11 kg cobot carrying one person, with 3 kg payload and 692 mm reach. It also expanded the CRX line: CRX-30iA now handles 40 kg payloads for palletizing, plus new controller with Python scripting and ROS 2 support, enabling faster small-scale automation.

• CRX-3iA: 11 kg, single-person portable; 3 kg payload, 692 mm reach; magnetic base, wall/ceiling mount with auto angle.
• CRX-30iA: upgraded to 40 kg payload for palletizing (13x the 3iA capacity); broad range across 3–40 kg payloads.
• New R-50iA controller: Python scripting and ROS 2 support for faster development without traditional robot programming.
• Expanded capabilities: Triangle Weave welding, dual nut runner support, high inertia mode for heavy-load guidance.
