Elroy Air completes first autonomous flights in FAA program; US Army awards $46M development contract

Chaparral completed a week-long series of autonomous missions in Houma, Louisiana, in partnership with Bristow Group, flying under the FAA eVTOL Integration Pilot Program. The same month, the US Army awarded Elroy a $46M contract to develop multi-mission payload mechanisms, signal-denied navigation, cyber-protected comms, and mobile mission planning.
