DiDi and GAC Aion deliver first R2 robotaxi fleet; vehicle officially enters mass production

DiDi Autonomous Driving and GAC Aion delivered the first R2 fleet at GAC Aion's Guangzhou manufacturing facility, marking China's first mass-produced autonomous vehicle designed specifically for commercial robotaxi operations. The R2 is equipped with 33 sensors and a tri-domain computing platform delivering 2,000+ TOPS of processing power.
