Deep Fission, founded by physicist Richard Muller and his daughter Elizabeth Muller, emerged publicly with $4 million in pre-seed funding from 8VC. The company is developing the Gravity reactor, a novel underground reactor design that uses a borehole one mile deep instead of conventional surface cooling towers.
