Cyclic announced a campus in Chesterfield County, South Carolina combining its second US magnet-recovery spoke with its largest refining hub. It will process 2,000 tonnes of magnet material a year at first, making 600 tonnes of mixed rare-earth oxides, with expansion planned to triple both. Operations are expected in 2028.
- Investment over US$82 million; more than 90 jobs.
- Capacity 2,000 t/yr magnet material (planned 6,000), 600 t/yr oxides (planned 1,800).
- Will recycle 100% of the magnet swarf from VACUUMSCHMELZE's Sumter plant under a 10-year deal.
