Cyclic opened its first US plant, a US$20 million, 144,000 sq ft facility in Mesa that can take up to 25,000 tonnes of scrap a year. Its MagCycle line separates magnets from steel to make Mag-Xtract, which is shipped to chemical plants to be refined into rare-earth oxides. More than 7,000 tonnes of scrap had already been delivered.
