Colossal raised a $150M Series B led by United States Innovative Technology Fund, valuing it at >$1B and bringing total funding to $225M since its 2021 launch. It added the dodo to its de-extinction targets alongside the woolly mammoth and Tasmanian tiger, and set up an avian genomics group.
